Care Instructions

After use, immediately wash your knives in warm soapy water.

Never put a carbon steel knife in the dishwasher.

Try to avoid soaking the timber handle in water.

Once clean, dry your knife well and apply a light coat of food safe oil. I prefer mineral oil, but any food safe oil will work.

Store in a dry place, away from excess moisture.

Every six months, apply a light coat of oil to the entire knife, including the handle.

Your knife will need to be periodically resharpened, If you are not comfortable doing this yourself, I offer a sharpening service. Please contact me or check the “sharpening” page here.
